How it works

Automatic detection
When you open the tool, it automatically queries a public IP geolocation API to retrieve your connection details.
2

Your public IP address, country, region, city and postal code are displayed. Location is accurate to city level.
3
Network details
Your ISP, organisation name, timezone and coordinates are also shown. Useful for debugging network issues or verifying VPN connections.
4
Copy & refresh
Copy individual fields or all data at once. Hit Refresh to get updated information.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is my public IP address?

Your public IP is the address assigned to your internet connection by your ISP. It is visible to any website you visit, unlike your local/private IP which is only visible within your network.

Is my data stored?

No data is stored by VeritySuite. The tool queries a public IP geolocation API (ipinfo.io) to fetch your IP information, but nothing is saved on our end.

Why does my location appear approximate?

IP geolocation is based on your ISP's registered location, not your exact physical address. It is usually accurate to city level but may be off by tens of kilometres.

What does VPN or proxy change?

If you are using a VPN or proxy, the tool will show the IP and location of the VPN server exit node, not your real location.
